Ziggymoto’s “All the World is Dead
Ziggymoto’s “All the World is Dead” is a genre-bending show featuring the music of the Allman Brothers and The Grateful Dead… but with a twist. Incorporating musical styles from all over the world, Ziggymoto performs some surprising, yet always danceable interpretations of classic songs with reggae, mambo, second line, salsa, samba, funk, Caribbean and afro-beat grooves all finding their way into the catalogs of the Allmans and the Dead.
Ziggymoto is made up of some of Charleston’s most versatile and in demand musicians, featuring Steven Sandifer on drums and percussion (Dangermuffin), Tyler Ross on guitar and Gerald Gregory on piano (both members of the Charleston Jazz Orchestra and the CofC Faculty Jazz Ensemble), and Jake Holwegner on bass (The Cuban Cowboys).
* Show is 21+. Attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a parent & will be subject to a $5 surcharge. The surcharge must be paid in cash at the door on the day of the event.
