PHISH LYRICIST AND COLLABORATOR “THE DUDE OF LIFE” FORMS ORIGINAL NEW ALL-STAR BAND WITH MEMBERS OF DOOM FLAMINGO, RUNAWAY GIN, A.O.

Longtime Phish lyricist Dude of Life joins forces with Runaway Gin’s Andy Greenberg in a joyous and intense new project. “Space Armadillo are a fearlessly fun fist-pumping five-headed monster cranking out musical glee, roaming joyfully with emotional resonance and a massive sound like Godzilla destroying Tokyo.”

Dude of Life has written lyrics and melodies for some of Phish’s most beloved songs, including “Fluffhead,” “Run Like An Antelope,” “Suzy Greenberg,” “Sanity,” “Slave To The Traffic Light,” and “Dinner And A Movie.

Guitarist and vocalist Andy Greenberg has dedicated the last decade to majestically recreating Phish’s catalog with the tribute act Runaway Gin. Since the age of 15 Andy has founded and played in numerous projects from New Orleans to Charleston SC.

Space Armadillo consists of Steve Pollak (the Dude of Life) on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Andy Greenberg (Runaway Gin) on lead guitar and backing vocals, Ross Bogan (Doom Flamingo) and Lureto on keyboards and backing vocals, Ben Mossman (Little Bird) on bass and Stuart White (The Motown Throwdown) on drums.

Space Armadillo is currently recording an innovative new album of all originals at Coast Records with producer, Matt Zutell.
