Homemade Haircuts
Homemade Haircuts is a four-piece indie rock outfit from Columbia, South Carolina. Originally a bedroom recording project, the group has developed its energetic live sound through years of touring the Southeast.
Fans are drawn to the band for their playful stage presence, infectious riffs, and genuine chemistry. A sense of adventure and self-discovery rings out from each song, lasting long after the band is done playing.
The band has garnered attention from local music lovers and news outlets alike, with the Charleston City Paper naming Homemade Haircuts “one of the clear-cut up-and-coming bands to watch in the Carolinas.”
Homemade Haircuts Goes Swimming is the band’s best effort yet – a 5-song EP tracked live at Headroom Studios in Philadelphia, PA. Drawing upon their chemistry built from years of touring, the band delivers tight and emotional performances across the board. Available everywhere 8/23.
Deaf Andrews
Conceived in the daydreams of adolescence, Deaf Andrews has blossomed from their roots, into a unique sonic flower of indie pop rock. It is the product of five best friends from Charlotte, NC making music that means something to them. Consisting of Nick Hayes (Vocals), Mike Sherrard (guitar), Ross Schumann (bass), Andrew Kingsley (guitar) and Braedon Nelson (drums).
Deaf Andrews has continued to push their personal limits of creativity and emotional tuneness. Making it a priority to capture some of the magic energy that fuels their live shows, the sound is organic, direct, and channels the essence of true rock and roll while also exploring the experimental freedom of modern indie pop. The band has released two singles in 2023: “Phone Line” which harkens back to the youthful bliss experienced during the formative years of life; and “Just Not Right” which delves into the fickle nature of modern love. Catchy guitar layers and smooth tones are complemented with rousing lyrics that underscore feelings of love, recklessness, and comfort.
Good Deal
Good Deal is a four-piece indie rock band hailing from Raleigh, NC. With debut songwriting efforts coming from Cliff Johnson (Vocals/Guitarist), Good Deal is serving up a range of sounds and feelings in their songs. Drawing from a wide array of their favorite artists and mixing indie pop/rock and folk styles, the group navigates through moment after moment of beauty and energy that can be found and shared in music.
