Acclaimed author of the book GROWTH and award-winning Best Actor for the short film Wormhole, Christian Morant is a professional spoken word artist and musician most known for his enthralling level of poetry and advocacy on mental health. He frequently performs at New York’s legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the varied intimate spaces of SoFar Sounds, has been a featured artist for Philly’s internationally curated Voices In Power events, and has captivated audiences across England and Canada. He’s also had the honor of sharing the mic alongside Charleston’s first poet laureate Marcus Amaker, performing with acclaimed hip-harp duo Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise, and collaborating with childhood friend and Noisy Boys counterpart Josh Davidson. Christian’s proudest milestone however, apart from his book, is embracing the TEDx stage at the iconic Charleston Music Hall along with the release of his single The Greatest Showman, his tribute to his grandparents.
